If you have trouble with your X Window System configuration, you can use redhat-config- xfree86 to configure it again. This tool is also helpful for updating your X Window System if you change your video card. Simply run the tool again and select the appropriate card. You can run redhat-config-xfree86 by selecting Display on the System Settings window or menu. The redhat-config-xfree86 tool first opens a Display Settings window  with pop-up menus for selecting your resolution and color
